Gandhi: The most inhuman human

I was born in 1983, he died in 1948 so there is no chance that I saw this man alive. Recently I read a lot about this man form various sources and after knowing him little better,I feel he is the most inhuman human I ever got to know.

Inhuman ?? Yeah. Inhuman.

So, what is human ?

Certain recent events around forced me to think so. I would like to quote few of them and explain the humanity in today's context.

1. America succeeds in killing terrorist Osama after 10 years of successive civilian killings.
2. Rajnaath Singh (BJP Leader) beats policeman on duty beause he got little push during public protest with UP farmers.
3. My teacher in class said that he will mark those students "F" who have marked proxy in the class. No he cant forgive anyone.

So, very different and unrelated events but is there a connection.

Let me explain, there is

No.1, when someone attacks you or your country your responsibility is to attack that country, settle there for years, capture there resources, kill civilians and terrorists. Finally capture the resources. This is humanity, in today's context. The way to safeguard and take revenge.

No.2, Being a political leader, its your responsibility to participate in any anti-government activity across the country and in that you deserve VVIP treatment because you are asset for the country. All securities and comforts should be there for you and you should be treated with utter care.

No.3, Students are supposed to be honest and not commit mistakes and if they do so they deserve a lesson. They should be punished for this. Punishment is the best way to improve and not the forgiveness. Forgiveness is the weapon of weak.

So, this is humanity in today's context.

Kill people if they kill you, personal comfort is more than anything else and forgiveness is not the way, today.

Now, if we observed "Gandhi" we find that he has done exactly opposite than this. He has done everything which, in today's context, looks inhuman.

No.1, Foreigners came to his country, tortured his countrymen and also killed in some cases. But he protested calmly never killed anyone and never used a weapon. How inhuman!

No.2, He went to jail several times, went for fast, wore bare minimum clothes and walked length and breadth on country on foot. No personal comforts. Just with people. Again how inhuman for a politician!

No.3, Forgiveness is the strongest weapon, he used to say and he forgave many people. According to him, that was the best method to improve people. How ridiculous!

So, that man had done so many inhuman activities.

I strongly condemn those who praise Gandhi and say that they follow him. How you can follow a man who was so inhuman.

Can you imagine, in today's times, you can fight a war, with strongest country in the world without using a single weapon or firing a single shot. No ?

He did so. Because he was inhuman. We are just human. We cant follow him.

Sometimes I remember these words of Albert Einstein, How true he is.

"Generations to come will scarce believe that such a one as this walked the earth in flesh and blood"

  1. Very nice article Ankur... The emotions are well depicted!!!!!!

But only a point to add, Gandhi was ruthless on his followers. If you read "Gandhi and his Son", there are few instances which explains this. So, can we link the point.3 in your article to this? Just a thought....

But your article explains your thoughts very nicely...

  2. Gandhi was inhumane even to himself.....Threatening oneself till Death is no better than threatening others for their life. And Gandhi was good at it or rather worse, who used to blackmail others by threatening his own life which gives them no choice but to accept his view.
